    Abstract

    Valentin Steinhauer graduated in 2018 with an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges. He also holds a BA and an MA in European Studies and European Public Affairs from Maastricht University. He currently works as a Bluebook Trainee at the Secretariat General of the European Commission. His previous positions include assignments at the European Parliament and the Daimler AG in Berlin and Brussels. This paper is based on his Master’s thesis at the College of Europe (Simone Veil Promotion).
