Abstract
For the sake of comparability in cross-national studies, Britain is often excluded from analyses. However, such exclusion may convey a false impression of universal favoritism toward European integration. In this paper, I pick up what is left unanalyzed in Anderson’s recent study and attempt to show that economic benefits derived from EU’s structural funds can have a major impact on British attitudes toward the EU.
