Abstract
Given the high degree of uncertainty about the spread of COVID-19, our Summer Quarterly Economic Commentary assesses the future prospects for the Irish economy under three different scenarios: Baseline (“New normal with ongoing physical distancing”, Severe (“Second wave requiring strict lockdown”) and Benign (“Successful disease suppression”).
