Abstract
A research study on the procedures to protect an unlawfully dismissed employee entails the need to examine a particularly complex legislative framework, both on the Italian side and on the European side. On the one hand, this is due to the fact that a common “corpus” of rules directly applicable within the EU, which equally protects all the unlawfully dismissed EU Member States’ employees, does not currently exist.
