Abstract
On 28 March 1977 Mr Mario SOARES, Prime Minister of the Government of the Portuguese Republic, submitted to Dr David OWEN, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom and President-in-Office of the Council of the European Communities, Portugal's applications for accession pursuant to Articles 237 of the EEC Treaty, 205 of the EURATOM Treaty and 98 of the ECSC Treaty.
