Abstract
A recent paper by Kelleher (1) undertakes three tasks: 1. To outline a framework for monetary policy which links both public and private sector credit creation. 2. To examine recent monetary experience. 3. To provide an outline of the role of fiscal policy in facilitating monetary stability. This paper examines each of these areas in the light of the author's findings.
