    Abstract

    This report is the fourth in a series of Annual Policy Reports1, a series which is intended to provide a coherent overview of immigration trends and policy development during consecutive periods beginning in January 2003. Comparable Annual Policy Reports are also available for a number of other EU countries participating in the European Migration Network.
