Abstract
The European institutions are able to take measures aiming at fighting financing terrorism. Among these measures, some of them forbid financial transactions or impose freezing of assets. The Court of First Instance of the European Court of Justice, on 12 December 2006, took a courageous position with regard to the European blacklisting process.
