Abstract
Although it remains to be seen what effects Trump’s protectionist approach will have on the US economy, Daniel Gros foresees in this CEPS Commentary that the UK will incur some heavy costs during the Brexit process and further warns that those costs will only grow if more countries follow Trump’s lead, and the rules-based global system continues to deteriorate.
