Abstract
This paper analyzes a number of issues related to future enlargement of the EU. The paper considers motivations for applying to join the EU, and the potential applicants from the Mediterranean, Eastern and Central Europe. The conclusion examines the impacts that these enlargements may have upon the EU, and the choices and problems that these impacts may present.
