    Abstract

    Frankreichs Präsident Nicolas Sarkozy will mit europäischen Staatsfonds die Unternehmen innerhalb der EU vor den Folgen der Bankenkrise schützen: Er will so die Wirtschaft nicht subventionieren, sondern stabilisieren. Sarkozy fordert damit Solidarität, um das europäische Wirt-schafts- und Sozialmodell zu schützen. Doch welche Herausforderungen muss dieses Modell künftig meistern?
